Hi Everyone,
Please plan on joining us at Mom and Dad's house this coming Saturday at 1PM for a potluck (Dad's request). 6126 Malcolm Drive, San Diego, CA 92115. If you have any questions you can email me at ma.mcginnis@gmail.com, or call my cell 619-248-5557. We're trying to keep this as low key as possible for Mom.
We will have some time for everyone to share memories, or to say a few words about Dad. Our UU minister will be here at 2pm, and we will plan on gathering in a circle around that time and having a short talk and then time to share.
We will provide beverages. If everyone else would bring a dish to share that would be great.

i am so sorry to hear that dan passed away. i was just going to stop by today to see him, i had been sick for the last week and didn't want to take a chance of passing something on to him. i hope the family is doing well. every time i stopped by i was just loved the way everyone took such good care of dan.

We know that at some unknown time in the near or far future, we'll all meet up with Dan and Warren, and we'll join them in their camping, backpacking, guitar playing adventures. Thanks for showing us how to live, you guys.

I heard about Dan today from Beth Olin at the County and am very sad. I was unaware that Dan was not well. I will always have fond memories of Dan and be grateful to Dan for hiring me at the County in 1987 and then bringing me over to the conservatorship program in late 1988. Dan, Victor, Van and I had many fun conversations over coffee at Kozacs in El Cajon. He was a great guy who loved his family, our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Gary Hubbard
